Who makes the cabinet

Cato is a brand of Activar Construction Products Group, which has been injection-molding plastic fire extinguisher cabinets in the USA since 1984. Cato is a trademark of Activar CPG. This site is not operated by Activar CPG, and nothing here should be read as a statement by the manufacturer. The submittals, installation guides and warranty on the submittals page are Activar's own documents, reproduced unchanged.

Activar warrants its fire protection products other than extinguishers for one year from the date of shipment against defects in materials and workmanship.

About the prices and the extinguishers

Prices shown are our list prices in US dollars. Shipping and tax are added at checkout, and the price shown at checkout governs.

Where this site mentions a fire extinguisher that fits a cabinet, it means a Strike First, Amerex or JL Industries unit — the lines we actually stock. A tub is a box: measure your own cylinder against the tub I.D. on the model page rather than trusting a brand name.
